Usage:
1.Antioxidant protection of graphite electrode for arc steel-making.
2.Antioxidant protection of graphite electrode for electrolytic aluminum.
3.Antioxidant protection of graphite electrode for metal smelting and casting residence radiation temperature improving.

Products Features: This product has good antioxidant effects from temperatures of 600 to 1550 degrees. (below 900 degrees, the product loses over 90% of oxidant effect;900-1000 degrees, the product loses 50-60% of oxidant effect;1200-1550 degrees, the product loses 40-50% of oxidant effect). The antioxidant protection layers on the surface of graphite electrode or in the pores have good thermal shock stability. It could improve the surface conductivity of graphite electrode to a great extent, and improve elastic modulus of electrode to some extent. When temperature goes up, no expansion or protrusion occurs on electrode surface, and electrodes don’t adhere to electrode clamps.

Temperature Scope: 600—1800℃

Methods: Graphite Electrode for Impregnating Steel-Making should be immersed by natural immersing, vacuum immersing or ultrasonic immersing, then taken to dry naturally. The protection layer is 0.01-0.05mm in thickness. Radiation Heating Graphite Electrode would have better antioxidant effect by brush coating, spraying or membrane adhering before using.
